At InterAsian Market, our main goal is to provide the best possible customer service. To represent our promise to our customers, we've decided to rebrand ourselves to reflect that across all faces of our company. A new unified brand will ensure you have the same experience from our website to social media to an in-store visit. While this has been happening for several months behind the scenes, we'd like to officially unveil our changes.
The Center: Our Logo
Starting in March, our team set out to see what could be done. The first thing we decided on was to create a logo. But this came in two steps. The first step, completed in March, was a type face logo. It was only words but no icon/picture. The second step, which debuted at the beginning of September, added an icon to our logo. You can now see our new shopping basket logo on our website, social media accounts, and it will soon appear on our in-store signage.
The Message: Our Slogan
Our slogan can already be found on our website homepage. The "High Quality Products. Everyday Low Prices." exemplifies our promise to our customers that they will only receive the highest quality products available at the best price. From grocery items to deli items, you will always find the best available.
The Internet: Our Redesigned Website
Starting at the beginning of summer, we set out to create a new website. Completed in July, this website provides our readers a user-friendly enviroment on desktop, tablet, and mobile. First, our URL changed from InterAsianMarketDeli.com to the shortened InterAsianMarket.com. Next, we redesigned our site, giving it the look and functionality it has now. In addition to increased functionality, our website gained a new theme. Bright colors, whites, full screen images, are just some of the things that changed on our website.
The Communication: Social Media
Social media is an extremely important part of our communication to our customers. It allows us to communicate new products, limited time deli items, and much more. Our social media marketing started several years ago on Twitter and Facebook. These boomed with new and existing customers and followers. We soon added Instagram to allow us to share pictures of all of our deli items. To allow us to focus on these social media accounts, we have decided to end our support for our Google+ and Pinterest accounts. These accounts will still remain active, but there will be limited posting.
The Heart: Our Deli
For many, our deli is the most popular part of our company and we recognize that. A small team led by Chef Boonkheng Xayarath has been experimenting and testing on new and innovative deli items. Many of these items start as pop-up specials and will eventually become main stay deli items. Our Banh Khot and Banh It Tran are two of the most recent ones. I've also heard that we might have a special sweet rice dessert that we are test-selling next weekend.
The Store: Our Signage
Next time you walk into our store, you might notice that most of our signage is becoming similar. That's because it is. To complement our logo, we've started to use the same colors and fonts across all aspects of our company. We will slowly transition our signage over time because we don't want to throw away all of our signage and waste paper and printer ink.
Anything that we do at InterAsian Market is for our customers. All of the changes above echo this. The unifying changes in design allow us to give the same experience across all faces of our company. While we've been working on this for the past several months, keep an eye out for there are still a few changes to come.
